Dyeing Method: Dissolve the dye in hot water (approximately 80°C) and add it to the dye pot with warm water. Soak clean, bleached silk in water until thoroughly wet. Wring it out and put it in the dye pot. Increase the heat until almost boiling (90-95°C). Continue dyeing for about 20 minutes, turning the silk often. Rinse the silk with clean water, wring it out. Soak the silk in Elephant Brand silk softener and at the same time the color fades. Mix with warm water for 15 minutes. Squeeze until damp and Dry in the shade with a breeze. Silk dyeing tip: Increase the heat slowly to ensure an even color. Add a little vinegar to brighten the color. Use a silk softener at the same time as the color fades to keep the silk soft and smooth and the color doesn't fade. Note: Do not use chemicals mixed with oily powder when dyeing.
